Church Cross

Moving from Religion to Relationship!

Helping others develop a strong, long lasting, and loving relationship
with Jesus Christ and one another.

Higher D is driven by God’s purposes. We focus on the Great Commandments and the Great Commission and we’ve discovered that God wants His church to fulfill five purposes:

We magnify the name of Jesus in all that we do.

We focus on the mission of introducing un-churched people to Jesus.

We bring people into membership in God’s family, the church.

We help people become more like Christ.

We help people discover their GIFT for serving others.

We are committed

to the Great Commandments

and the Great Commission

which will cause us

to become a Great Church.

We believe the Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible Word of God, without error, and the complete revelation of His Will for the Salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.  2 Timothy 3:16, 17

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who is the Creator of all things, and infinitely perfect.  Genesis 1:26

We believe the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the true God and was true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; His sinless life, His miracles; His death, burial, and resurrection; and in His return to this earth in power and Glory.  Matthew 17:1-9

We believe the only way to be cleansed from sin is through a sincere repentant heart and faith in the blood of Jesus.  Acts 2:19, 20

We believe the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation and transformation and that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict men of sin, sanctify, regenerate, transform, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower for Godly (Holy) living and service.

We believe God desires that all men be saved, but only those who call upon the name of the Lord, accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, confessing Him as Lord with their mouths, believing in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, shall be saved from eternal damnation in Hell.  Romans 10:9, 10

We believe water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.  Acts 2:38

We believe the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, all true believers and only believers should share in it.

I Corinthians 11: 26-29

We believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.  John 14:6

We believe every believer must have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, for apart from Him we can do nothing. Each person has a ministry from God that no one else can fill. We are to instruct, teach, exhort, and admonish believers in the ways of God.  John 15:5

We believe we are to wash and renew our minds daily by the Word of God.  Romans 12:2

We believe we must learn His ways and exchange our way of thinking for His. We are to be conformed to the Kingdom of God by the molding and shaping of His hands.  Isaiah 55:8, 9

We believe Salvation is free, and apart from any work of man, it is a result of the Sovereign Grace of God.

We believe in worshipping the Lord in Spirit and Truth, song, dance, and with musical instruments. We are to worship and praise Him with our whole being.  Psalm 150

We believe that Godly living and the pursuit of a Holy life should be the goal of every believer.

We believe in the working of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and we believe it is God’s will to heal and deliver His people.  I Corinthians 12

We believe that GOD is GOD and He moves in our lives according to His Will and Purpose.  Jeremiah 1:5

Forgive me of my sins.

I confess that Jesus is Lord and

I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead.

I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior and my Lord.

Romans 10:9, 10

I believe now that I am saved by Grace

through my Faith in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8

Thank You for saving me.
